We collect less data than most banks because collecting data we do not use is a waste of disk and a waste of trust. This page tells you what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Information you give us when you open an account: name, identification documents, address, tax identification. Information your bank account generates: transactions, balances, loan applications. Information about how you use our apps and website: pages visited, features clicked, broadly anonymized. We do not buy behavioral data from third parties. We do not sell your data. Ever.
To keep regulators happy. To detect fraud on your accounts. To make our products better. To answer the phone intelligently when you call. That is the list.
Seven years after you close your account, per banking regulation in our primary jurisdictions. Then we delete it.
You can request a copy of everything we have on you, and we will send it within thirty days. You can ask us to correct or delete data we hold about you, subject to regulatory retention requirements. Contact our Data Protection team at privacy (at) accrualbank (dot) fake.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We use one analytics cookie that counts how many people visited a page. That is all. We do not run third-party ad trackers.
